Timoptic-XE

Timoptic-XE is a sterile, topical, non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocking agent. When applied topically to the eye, it works by reducing the production of aqueous humor, thereby lowering elevated intraocular pressure.

Dosage by Body Weight

The usual starting dose is one drop of Timoptic-XE (either 0.25% or 0.5%) in the affected eye(s) once daily. Shake the bottle once inverted before administration. Do not allow the dropper tip to touch any surface.
