Syntran

Syntran contains Itraconazole, a triazole antifungal agent. It works by inhibiting the fungal cytochrome P450-dependent enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, which blocks the synthesis of ergosterol—an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. This disruption impairs cell membrane function and increases permeability, leading to fungal cell death.

Dosage by Body Weight

Syntran capsules should be swallowed whole immediately after a full meal to ensure maximum absorption. The dosage and duration of treatment depend on the type and severity of the fungal infection and must be prescribed by a healthcare provider.
