Sevcar

Sevcar contains Sevelamer, which is a phosphate binder. It prevents hypocalcemia (low calcium levels in the body) caused by elevated phosphorus levels by binding to phosphate in the dietary tract, reducing its absorption into the body.

Dosage by Body Weight

Must be taken with meals. The dosage is highly individualized and adjusted by a physician based on serum phosphorus levels. Tablets must be swallowed whole and not crushed, chewed, or broken.
