Sevbela

Sevbela contains Sevelamer Carbonate, a non-calcium, non-metal phosphate binder. It binds to dietary phosphorus in the gastrointestinal tract, preventing its absorption and thereby lowering phosphate levels in the blood of patients undergoing dialysis.

Dosage by Body Weight

Must be taken with meals. The dosage is highly individualized and must be adjusted by a physician based on the patient's serum phosphorus levels. Tablets must be swallowed whole; do not crush, chew, or break.
