Pramipexole

Pramipexole is a non-ergoline dopamine receptor agonist. It works by stimulating dopamine receptors in the brain, helping to control movement and reduce symptoms of Parkinson's disease and involuntary urges to move the legs.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage must be titrated gradually starting from a low dose under medical supervision. Immediate-release tablets are typically taken three times daily for Parkinson's or once daily in the evening for RLS. Extended-release tablets are taken once daily. Do not crush or chew extended-release formulations.
