Ocu-Trol

Ocu-Trol is a combination ophthalmic medication containing two antibiotics (neomycin and polymyxin B) and a corticosteroid (dexamethasone). It is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye while reducing associated inflammation, swelling, and redness.

Dosage by Body Weight

Ophthalmic Suspension: Shake well before use. Instill 1 to 2 drops into the conjunctival sac(s) up to 4 to 6 times daily. Ointment: Apply a small amount (about a 1/2-inch ribbon) into the conjunctival sac(s) 3 to 4 times daily. Dosage may be tapered as inflammation improves. Do not touch the tip of the tube or dropper to any surface to avoid contamination.
