Mycamine

Mycamine contains micafungin sodium, an echinocandin antifungal medicine that inhibits the synthesis of beta(1,3)-D-glucan, an essential component of the fungal cell wall, leading to fungal cell death. It is administered strictly as an intravenous infusion.

Dosage by Body Weight

Administered once daily by intravenous infusion over approximately 1 hour. Dosage varies by indication, patient age, and body weight. Must be prescribed and administered by healthcare professionals.
