Caspofungin
An echinocandin antifungal. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of the fungal cell wall. It is generally very well tolerated in pediatrics.
Dosage by Body Weight
Dosed by body surface area (BSA) in children. Standard: 70 mg/m² loading dose, then 50 mg/m² daily (max 70 mg).
