Amphotericin B (Liposomal)
A potent antifungal. The liposomal version is much less toxic to the kidneys than the older 'deoxycholate' version. Used for severe systemic candida or aspergillus.
Dosage by Body Weight
Pediatric dose: 3 mg/kg to 5 mg/kg daily via IV infusion. Requires close monitoring of electrolytes and renal function.
