A fast-acting benzodiazepine. The buccal form is applied to the side of the mouth (between gums and cheek) for rapid absorption into the bloodstream.
Dosage by Body Weight
Dose is age and weight-based. Typically 0.2 mg/kg to 0.5 mg/kg. Only use as directed by a neurologist in emergencies.
