Mexate

Mexate contains Methotrexate, an antimetabolite and immunosuppressant. It works by inhibiting the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase, thereby preventing DNA synthesis and cell proliferation in rapidly growing tissues.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage must be highly individualized. For rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis, it is typically taken ONCE WEEKLY. Daily dosing can lead to fatal toxicity. Always monitor blood counts, liver, and kidney function during treatment.
