Lopinavir

Lopinavir is an HIV-1 protease inhibitor. It is co-formulated with ritonavir, which acts as a pharmacokinetic booster by inhibiting CYP3A, thereby increasing the plasma concentrations of lopinavir.

Dosage by Body Weight

Must be taken in combination with ritonavir. Oral solution must be taken with food, whereas tablets can be taken with or without food. Dosages are highly individualized based on body weight, age, and concomitant therapies.
