Lopimune
Lopimune is a co-formulation of lopinavir and ritonavir. Lopinavir is an HIV-1 protease inhibitor that prevents the cleavage of viral polyproteins, arresting the maturation of the virus. Ritonavir acts as a pharmacokinetic enhancer (booster) by inhibiting the CYP3A-mediated metabolism of lopinavir, thereby increasing its systemic exposure and antiviral activity.
