Livalo

Livalo (pitavastatin) is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) that works by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for cholesterol production in the liver. By lowering LDL ('bad') cholesterol and triglycerides while raising HDL ('good') cholesterol, it helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes.
