Zypitamag

Zypitamag is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme in the liver that is required to produce cholesterol, thereby reducing the amount of cholesterol in the blood and decreasing the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Dosage by Body Weight

Take orally once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. The typical starting dose is 2 mg once daily, which can be adjusted up to a maximum dose of 4 mg once daily based on individual patient response and lipid levels. Dosage adjustment (maximum 2 mg once daily) is required for patients with moderate to severe renal impairment.
