Lametec

Lametec contains Lamotrigine, an anticonvulsant medicine that works by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain. It is used either alone or with other medications to prevent and control seizures. It is also used to delay mood episodes in adults with bipolar disorder.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage must be strictly individualized and titrated slowly over several weeks to minimize the risk of serious skin rashes, such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Do not stop taking this medication abruptly.
