Kiovig

Kiovig is a highly purified solution of human normal immunoglobulin (IgG) containing a broad spectrum of antibodies against infectious agents. It is administered intravenously to restore normal IgG levels or to modify immune responses in autoimmune conditions.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage must be individualized by a specialist based on clinical response, IgG trough levels, and the specific indication. Replacement therapy typically starts at 0.4 to 0.8 g/kg body weight, followed by maintenance doses every 3 to 4 weeks. Immunomodulation doses are higher, up to 2 g/kg, often divided over 2 to 5 days.
