Arcapta
Arcapta Neohaler (indacaterol inhalation powder) is an inhaled long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) used to prevent bronchospasm in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways to improve breathing. It is not indicated for the treatment of asthma or acute bronchospasms.
Dosage by Body Weight
The standard adult dose is the inhalation of the contents of one 75 mcg capsule once daily, using only the Neohaler inhaler device. It should be administered at the same time each day. The inhalation capsules must not be swallowed orally.
