Perforomist

Perforomist is a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA). It works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the airways in the lungs, helping to keep them open and making it easier to breathe. It is administered using a standard jet nebulizer connected to an air compressor.

Dosage by Body Weight

The standard dose for adults with COPD is one 20 mcg/2 mL unit-dose vial inhaled twice daily (once in the morning and once in the evening) using a nebulizer. Do not exceed 2 vials (40 mcg) in a 24-hour period. Perforomist is not intended for acute bronchospasm rescue therapy.
