Brovana

Brovana (arformoterol tartrate) is a sterile, clear, colorless, long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) inhalation solution. It works by relaxing the muscles around the airways in the lungs, helping to keep them open and make breathing easier. It is intended only for long-term control of COPD and should not be used as a rescue medication for acute breathing problems.

Dosage by Body Weight

The standard dose is one 15 mcg unit-dose vial administered twice daily (once in the morning and once in the evening) using a standard jet nebulizer connected to an air compressor. Do not exceed 30 mcg per day.
