Zegalogue

Zegalogue (dasiglucagon) is a glucagon receptor agonist indicated for the treatment of severe hypoglycemia in pediatric and adult patients with diabetes aged 6 years and older. It acts by stimulating the release of glucose from the liver.

Dosage by Body Weight

The recommended dose is 0.6 mg injected subcutaneously into the abdomen, thigh, gluteal area, or outer upper arm. An additional dose of 0.6 mg may be administered using a new prefilled syringe or autoinjector if the patient does not respond within 15 minutes.
