Irreversibly inhibits GABA transaminase, increasing GABA levels in the brain. **Warning: Can cause permanent peripheral vision loss.**

Infantile spasms: Start 50 mg/kg/day, titrated up to 150 mg/kg/day. Requires regular vision testing (ERGs).
