Urso Forte
Urso Forte contains ursodiol, a naturally occurring bile acid that helps reduce cholesterol production in the liver and absorption in the intestines. It helps dissolve gallstones and is used to treat primary biliary cholangitis, a chronic inflammatory liver disease.
Dosage by Body Weight
The recommended adult dosage for primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) is 13 to 15 mg/kg/day, taken in two to four divided doses with food. For gallstone prevention or dissolution, the standard adult dosage is typically 300 mg twice daily.
