Uremide

Uremide is a brand of furosemide, a potent loop diuretic (water pill) that prevents the body from absorbing too much salt, allowing the salt and excess water to be passed in the urine. It is primarily used to reduce swelling and fluid retention caused by heart, kidney, or liver disease, and to treat hypertension.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage must be individualized by a healthcare professional. Typically taken once daily in the morning to prevent nighttime urination. Regular monitoring of electrolytes and blood pressure is recommended.
