Tobi

TOBI is an inhaled aminoglycoside antibacterial. It is formulated for inhalation using a nebulizer, allowing the medication to be delivered directly to the lungs to treat chronic Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections in cystic fibrosis patients while minimizing systemic side effects.

Dosage by Body Weight

The standard dose for adults and pediatric patients 6 years of age and older is one single-use ampule (300 mg) administered twice daily (12 hours apart) for a 28-day active cycle, followed by 28 days off the drug. It is not dosed by body weight.
