Sure Lac
Sure Lac contains Lactulose, a synthetic sugar that acts as an osmotic laxative. It is broken down in the colon into mild organic acids, which draw water into the bowel, softening the stool and promoting bowel movements. In hepatic encephalopathy, it helps draw ammonia from the blood into the colon, reducing its absorption.
