Lovolac
Lovolac is an oral solution containing Lactulose, a synthetic disaccharide laxative. It works by drawing water into the bowel to soften stools and facilitate easy bowel movements. It is also used to prevent and treat hepatic encephalopathy by reducing blood ammonia levels.
Dosage by Body Weight
Can be taken as a single daily dose or divided into two doses. It can be taken with or without food. It may take 24 to 48 hours to produce an effect. Always drink plenty of water while taking this medication.
