Seizalam

Seizalam is a prescription medication containing Midazolam, a short-acting benzodiazepine. It acts on the central nervous system by enhancing the activity of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA, which helps calm abnormal electrical activity in the brain to stop seizures rapidly.

Dosage by Body Weight

Seizalam (Midazolam) dosage must be determined by a healthcare provider. The nasal spray is primarily used as rescue therapy for acute seizures and is administered as a single spray into the nostril. Immediate emergency medical assistance should be sought after administration.
