Phyllin

Phyllin is a combination bronchodilator containing Etofylline and Theophylline. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the bronchial airways and pulmonary blood vessels, reducing airway resistance and making breathing easier for patients suffering from obstructive airway diseases.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage must be highly individualized. Typically taken orally with or after meals to minimize gastric irritation. Extended-release tablets must be swallowed whole and not crushed or chewed. Regular monitoring of serum theophylline levels may be required during long-term therapy to prevent toxicity.
