Oxeze

Oxeze is a brand of formoterol fumarate, a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA). It works as a bronchodilator by relaxing the smooth muscles of the airways to improve airflow and make breathing easier. It is administered via a dry powder inhaler device called a Turbuhaler.

Dosage by Body Weight

Oxeze is an inhaled medication and is not dosed by body weight. The usual dose for adults with asthma or COPD is 6 mcg to 12 mcg inhaled once or twice daily. Maximum daily dose should not exceed 48 mcg. For children 6 years of age and older, the typical dose is 6 mcg or 12 mcg twice daily. Always use exactly as prescribed by a doctor.
