Oxetol

Oxetol contains Oxcarbazepine, an anticonvulsant or antiepileptic drug. It works by blocking voltage-sensitive sodium channels in the brain, stabilizing hyperexcitable neuronal membranes, and inhibiting repetitive neuronal firing, thereby preventing and controlling seizures.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dosage of Oxetol must be individualized by a physician. It is usually initiated at a low dose and gradually increased over several weeks to achieve optimal therapeutic effect. Do not stop taking this medication suddenly, as it can trigger severe or continuous seizures.
