Carbox

Carbox is a mucolytic medication containing Carbocisteine. It acts by breaking down the chemical bonds of mucoproteins in sputum, thereby reducing its viscosity and making it easier to clear from the airways. It is widely used to manage symptoms of respiratory conditions associated with excessive mucus production.

Dosage by Body Weight

Standard oral administration. Dosage is typically calculated based on age and clinical response. Ensure adequate fluid intake to support the thinning of mucus. Consult a physician before administering to children under 2 years of age.
