Works by inhibiting the synthesis of mycolic acids, an essential component of the bacterial cell wall in Mycobacteria.

Dosage by Body Weight

Pediatric dose: 10 mg/kg (range 7-15 mg/kg) once daily. Often prescribed with Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) to prevent nerve damage.
