Instgra

Instgra contains Dolutegravir (50mg), which is an integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI). It blocks the replication of HIV by preventing the viral DNA from integrating into the genetic material of human immune cells, thereby reducing the viral load and helping to increase CD4 cell counts.

Dosage by Body Weight

The standard adult dose is 50 mg orally once daily, taken with or without food. In cases of documented integrase inhibitor resistance or when co-administered with certain metabolic inducers (like efavirenz, rifampin, or phenytoin), the dose may be increased to 50 mg twice daily. Pediatric dosage is determined by body weight and formulation availability.
