Dolutegravir (DTG)

Dolutegravir is an integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI) that blocks the action of integrase, an HIV enzyme. This prevents the virus from multiplying and reduces the viral load in the body.

Dosage by Body Weight

Can be taken with or without food. Dispersible tablets should be dissolved in water and not swallowed whole, chewed, or crushed. Standard adult dose is 50 mg once daily, or twice daily if co-administered with certain CYP3A/UGT1A inducers.
