Gabastar

Gabastar is an analog of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) used primarily to treat neuropathic pain conditions and to control seizures. It works by stabilizing electrical activity in the brain and affecting nerve signals involved in pain.

Dosage by Body Weight

Adult dosage typically starts at 300 mg once daily on Day 1, 300 mg twice daily on Day 2, and 300 mg three times daily on Day 3. Dosage may be titrated up by a healthcare provider. Do not discontinue abruptly.
