Ketotifen Fumarate

Ketotifen is a second-generation H1-antihistamine and mast cell stabilizer. It is used primarily to prevent asthma attacks, but it does not treat acute asthma attacks once they have started. It is also highly effective in treating allergic eye conditions and systemic allergic symptoms.

Dosage by Body Weight

For oral administration, typically taken twice daily with meals. Pediatric dosing is often age- and weight-dependent. Ophthalmic drops are usually applied as one drop to the affected eye(s) twice daily. Always consult a healthcare professional for exact dosing.
