Enoximone

Enoximone is a selective phosphodiesterase III (PDE3) inhibitor with positive inotropic and vasodilator properties. It increases cardiac contractility and reduces systemic and pulmonary vascular resistance (preload and afterload), thereby improving cardiac output without significantly increasing myocardial oxygen consumption.
