Dompy

Dompy contains Domperidone, which is a dopamine receptor antagonist. It acts as an antiemetic and a prokinetic agent, working primarily by blocking dopamine receptors in the gastrointestinal tract and the chemoreceptor trigger zone in the brain. This actions helps to increase gut motility, facilitate gastric emptying, and prevent the sensation of nausea and the urge to vomit.

Dosage by Body Weight

Dompy should ideally be taken 15 to 30 minutes before meals. Taking it after meals may delay its absorption. The standard adult dose is 10 mg up to three times daily, with a maximum daily limit of 30 mg. It should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary (usually not exceeding one week). Consult a healthcare provider before administration.
