Domstal

Domstal contains Domperidone, an antiemetic and prokinetic agent. It works by blocking dopamine receptors in the stomach and the brain's chemoreceptor trigger zone. This action increases the motility of the upper gastrointestinal tract, facilitating faster stomach emptying and preventing the sensation of nausea and vomiting.

Dosage by Body Weight

Domstal is typically taken 15 to 30 minutes before meals. Taking it after meals may delay its absorption. Pediatric dosing must be strictly calculated based on body weight (standard pediatric dose is approximately 0.25 mg/kg per dose) and administered under medical supervision.
