Doluvir

Doluvir contains Dolutegravir, an integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI). It works by preventing the HIV virus from replicating and multiplying, thereby reducing the viral load in the blood and supporting the immune system.

Dosage by Body Weight

For adults and adolescents weighing at least 30 kg, the standard dose is 50 mg (one tablet) taken orally once daily, with or without food. In cases of integrase inhibitor resistance or co-administration with certain drugs like rifampin, the dose may be increased to 50 mg twice daily. Pediatric doses are determined by body weight.
