Azoran

Azoran contains Azathioprine, an immunosuppressive antimetabolite. It works by inhibiting DNA and RNA synthesis, which curtails the proliferation of immune cells (specifically T and B lymphocytes) responsible for transplant rejection and autoimmune attacks on healthy body tissues.

Dosage by Body Weight

Azoran must be taken under strict medical supervision. The dosage is highly individualized and determined by body weight, clinical response, and hematological tolerance. It is typically taken once or twice daily, preferably after meals to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Regular blood counts (CBC) are mandatory during therapy.
