Alfarol

Alfarol contains Alfacalcidol, a synthetic analogue of Vitamin D3. It is rapidly converted in the liver to 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3, the active metabolite of vitamin D, which acts as a regulator of calcium and phosphate metabolism. It increases intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate, promotes bone mineralization, and regulates parathyroid hormone levels.
