Akurit

Akurit is a combination antibiotic consisting of Rifampicin and Isoniazid. It is used in the treatment and prevention of tuberculosis. Rifampicin prevents bacterial growth by inhibiting RNA synthesis, while Isoniazid prevents cell wall synthesis of the tubercle bacilli.

Dosage by Body Weight

Take this medication on an empty stomach, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, with a full glass of water. It must be taken regularly without skipping doses to prevent drug resistance. Consult your doctor for exact dosage based on the clinical condition.
