Abilify

Abilify (aripiprazole) is an atypical antipsychotic. It works by acting as a partial agonist at dopamine D2 and serotonin 5-HT1A receptors, and an antagonist at serotonin 5-HT2A receptors, which helps to regulate mood, thinking, and behavior.

Dosage by Body Weight

Standard oral dosing for adults typically ranges from 2 mg to 30 mg once daily, with or without food. Pediatric dosing (for approved indications in children aged 6-18) is initiated at low doses (e.g., 2 mg daily) and titrated slowly.
