Tamiflu

Tamiflu is an antiviral medication that prevents the influenza virus from spreading inside the body. It helps shorten the duration of flu symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, and body aches when taken early in the course of the illness.

Dosage by Body Weight

Treatment must start within 48 hours of flu symptom onset. Standard adult dose is 75 mg twice daily for 5 days for treatment, and 75 mg once daily for prevention. Pediatric doses are determined by body weight.
