Wal-Finate is an over-the-counter antihistamine containing chlorpheniramine maleate (4 mg). It is a first-generation antihistamine that helps block histamine receptors to reduce allergy symptoms, though it commonly causes drowsiness.
Dosage by Body Weight
Adults and children 12 years of age and over: Take 1 tablet (4 mg) every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets (24 mg) in 24 hours. Children 6 to under 12 years: Take half a tablet (2 mg) every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed 3 tablets (12 mg) in 24 hours. Children under 6 years: Do not use.
