Vanguard

Vanguard is a brand of Valsartan, an oral angiotensin II receptor antagonist (ARB). It helps lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

Dosage by Body Weight

The usual starting dose for adults with hypertension is 80 mg once daily, which may be adjusted to 160 mg or up to 320 mg daily as required. It can be taken with or without food.
