Valtan

Valtan contains Valsartan, which is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the action of certain natural substances that tighten the blood vessels, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.

Dosage by Body Weight

The typical starting dose for adults with hypertension is 80 mg to 160 mg taken once daily. For heart failure, the standard starting dose is 40 mg twice daily. Dosages must be strictly individualized and adjusted under the supervision of a physician.
