Tizanidine

A short-acting central alpha-2 adrenergic agonist. It reduces spasticity by increasing presynaptic inhibition of motor neurons.

Dosage by Body Weight

Pediatric use is off-label. Starts at very low doses (1-2 mg at bedtime) and titrated. Monitor for hypotension.
